Privacy Policy

How maiunse handles your information and advertising cookies.

maiunse (the “Service”) values your privacy and uses this policy to explain what information is used and how. The Service is free to use and requires no sign-up.

Information We Collect

The Service has no sign-up and does not directly collect personal information. The birth date, birth time and name you enter for fortune readings are not sent to or stored on any server; they are kept only in your own browser’s local storage, to make your next visit easier. They disappear together with your browser data.

Retention and Deletion

The service keeps no reading inputs on a server, so there is no retention period to speak of. That means there is nothing on our side to delete; what stays inside your browser is described separately below.

Information carried in the result address

So that a reading can be opened again, the birth date, birth time, and name you entered are carried in the address of the result page. That address is not recorded on our server, but it does remain in your browser history, and it remains wherever you send the link. So when you post a result link on a public board or in a chat room that many people can see, please remember that your birth date and your name are inside it.

What is kept inside your browser

A few things are saved in your browser so that you do not have to enter them again on your next visit. These are the birth date, birth time and name you last used, the details of the two people entered for a compatibility reading, the choices you made in the pick-one readings — blood type, MBTI, Enneagram, five-element face and birth hour — and your theme and language settings. One timestamp is also kept briefly, in the space that clears when you close the tab, to stop a reload from repeating. All of it stays inside your own browser and is never sent to our server, and clearing site data in your browser removes all of it at once.

Cookies and Advertising

The Service may use third-party advertising vendors such as Google to serve ads. These vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits and provide personalized advertising. You can manage Google’s use of advertising cookies and opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or at aboutads.info.

Analytics

The service uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used. It relies on cookies and similar technologies to collect anonymous statistics such as pages visited, referral source, browser and device type, and approximate region at city level. The values you enter for a reading never travel to a server and are used only inside your browser, so they are not something Analytics could collect in the first place. If you prefer not to be measured, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or block cookies in your browser.

Third Parties

The Service does not sell your personal information or share it with third parties at its discretion. Cookie handling by advertising vendors follows those vendors’ own policies.

Processing outside your own country

The service uses Google Analytics for visit statistics and Google advertising services in order to show ads. The access records and cookie information these tools collect may be processed on those providers servers abroad. This is not the service transferring your personal information overseas; it happens because your own browser communicates with those providers directly. If you would rather it did not, you can block cookies and statistics collection by the methods described above.

Your Rights

Because the service holds no personal information that could identify you, there is simply no record for us to retrieve, correct or delete on your behalf. The entries left in your browser are yours to remove directly, and you can opt out of visit statistics and advertising cookies through the blocking add-on and the ad settings described above. If anything else about your privacy is unclear, please write to the contact address below.

External Links

The Service may contain links to external sites, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised in line with law or service changes, and any change will be posted on this page.
