Four types make exactly ten pairings
Choosing two from A, B, O and AB gives four same-type pairs and six mixed ones, ten combinations in all. Every pair of people in the world therefore falls into one of ten boxes. Which means any one box holds an uncountable number of pairs together. Knowing that number makes it easy enough to gauge on your own how far this reading can reasonably speak, and it is a good deal less far than a score suggests.
Why the score is the same every time
The score here is a value assigned in advance to each of the ten combinations, so it reads the same whenever you open it. It is not a figure calculated from anything about the two of you, but one attached to a pairing of two letters. Which means a couple ten years married and two people who met yesterday receive an identical score if their letters match. That is a good reason not to take the number as a fact about a relationship.
On asking each other for a blood type
In Korea and Japan it is common to ask a blood type at a first meeting, but the other person may not welcome it. Some are tired of hearing what gets attached to their type, and some hear it as an attempt to size up their character in advance. If you do ask and they would rather not answer, let it pass, and even when they do answer, please do not add a remark about the type there and then.
What this reading does not cover
The time two people have spent together, which of them reaches out first after an argument, how far they have agreed to overlook the habits of the other: none of that is contained in a blood type. And yet those are usually what actually holds a relationship up. What this reading can show is roughly where two dispositions tend to part, and how that parting has been handled is a story only the two of you know.
Do not settle a relationship with this score
We would not suggest calling off or carrying on a relationship using a grouping with no evidence behind it. Coming to see someone differently because the score was low, or letting signals that do not fit slide past because it was high, does more harm to a relationship than the reading ever does good. Looking at it together, laughing, and talking over whether the differences it names are really there is the whole of what it can do.
