So that a reading is not where things end, the site also carries explanatory pieces you can read without entering anything at all. They cover the basics of Saju and the five elements, the twelve signs and their ruling planets, the tarot arcana, the numerology life path and more. For anyone starting out there are learning paths that put those pieces in a sensible order, so you know what to read first. Once you can see how a reading is built, the same result reads differently.
How the site is paid for
Every reading and every article on the service is free, and there is no payment or subscription of any kind. The site is meant to be funded by advertising, though no ads are shown at present, and there is nowhere in it that asks you for money. If you ever see a page telling you to pay to see the rest of a result, or saying that a detailed reading costs extra, it does not belong to us. There are no accounts either, so there is never an occasion to enter payment details.
How readings are calculated
Fortune readings such as Four Pillars (Saju), Tojeong and the daily almanac are computed from an authentic perpetual calendar, using the actual heavenly stems, earthly branches and solar terms. Horoscopes, numerology and biorhythms are derived from your birth date by fixed formulas—never improvised.
What stays the same and what keeps changing
The way things are calculated does not change. The same birth date gives the same chart and the same sign no matter when you look, and a reading that changes daily always gives the same result for the same day. The wording, on the other hand, is revised continually. Thin explanations are filled out, statements that turn out to be inaccurate are corrected, and phrases that invite misunderstanding are replaced. If a sentence you remember reads differently now, that is why.
How the Readings Are Written
Traditional interpretations are presented as they have been handed down, but their limits are written in alongside them rather than hidden. Where a subject has no scientific basis, as with blood type personality theory or biorhythms, we say so; we state plainly that Sasang constitution is not a medical diagnosis and that palmistry and face reading do not fix anyone’s fate. Rather than string together only pleasant things, each reading also names what to watch out for, and points you to a doctor when the body is unwell or to a professional before a decision that matters. Not padding a text simply to make it longer belongs to the same principle.
The order in which the content grows
New entries are written for what people actually look for first. A dream symbol that could be searched for but had no reading, or a point that is asked about often but was explained thinly, comes before anything else. When a piece is written, it is written in all six languages at once. We do not publish the Korean first and fill in the rest later. That is why the same reading is there at the same depth whichever language you read in.
